We set out to have lunch at the Giordano's in downtown Des Plaines today, but gave up when it became apparent to us that they really weren't actually that thrilled with having customers dine in today. Fine. Instead, we ended up at TGI Friday's, where I tried out the Italian Chicken Slammers meal. It was pretty tasty and really filling, partly because it also included four mozzarella sticks. :)

I've made some progress on a few things around the house and will try to knock a few more off tomorrow.

it's the weekend. I needed some (relative) time off.
