Custard and Stupidity

billroperI ran out to pick up a kids meal at Culver's for Julie. She had said she didn't want the custard that came with, so I picked up a scoop of the flavor of the day and ate it, because it had been distinctly that kind of day.
Today's flavor was Caramel Peanut Butter Cup, which has a caramel base. I was struck by how smooth and creamy this was as opposed to anything that has a vanilla base, all of which have been annoyingly gritty and which leave particles of *something* stuck to the spoon. I remember that Culver's vanilla custard *used* to be creamy and smooth, but this is no longer the case and it makes me sad.
It also makes the custard much easier to resist, which is probably a good thing.
In other news, I am reminded that Facebook is full of people who think they know things. Some of them actually do. Others of them know things that are incorrect and trying to argue with them is a complete waste of time.
I have wasted *enough* time on the current argument, so the person who is wrong can have the last (incorrect) word.
