billroperGretchen and I grabbed lunch today, then headed out to Elk Grove Village to pick up our repaired dining room chair, which looks a good bit sturdier now. I also stopped by the store where we bought the tile for the backsplash in the kitchen and ordered the appropriate sealant for the stone sections of the mosaic. Our cabinets now have a ship date, so it looks like the kitchen reno will be the first week of April. Fingers crossed!
Later, I went to Sam's Club and Mariano's. I have acquired some nice steaks, which we will be throwing on the grill tomorrow to celebrate the arrival of Daylight Saving Time and the resultant later sunset that will make it possible to grill dinner in daylight. :) Also, the weather is supposed to be decent.
Next week, the forecasters are threatening snow. Oh, well. It's still March...
