The High Cost of Repair

billroperSince we were going to be in Elk Grove Village yesterday, I took advantage of proximity to drop my broken Apollo interface off to be shipped away for repair in California. With insurance, it came to over $80 just to get it there. Coming back will be about the same.
If this is similar to some other problems I've seen, the shipping will be right around the cost of the actual repair. Which would be a good outcome for the repair, but makes the shipping really annoying. :)
