Closer To Tree

Today was cold, wet, and miserable, so rather than go out looking for a Christmas tree, we decided to postpone that for a day. Instead, we spent time cleaning. This was good, because we really need to clean up the space where the Christmas tree is going to go. And after a lot of work (mostly by Gretchen), the space is clear, save for some cardboard boxes that need to be reduced for recycling.

If tomorrow's forecast holds, tree tomorrow.

I love that y’all have a whole adventure getting the tree every year (immortalized in one of your songs no less!)

I’ve put up one of the fake trees, but I’m having to figure out where our little geek Star Wars tree will go. I’m guessing though that I’ll need to move the roomba out of the way. But that area is also Gift-Wrap central for us too right now. It’s a mess.
