Dog On the Run

billroperI appear to have tweaked my surgically repaired knee this morning while putting my shoe on. It's moderately sore, but seems to be improving, so I just need to take it easy for a few days. Well, it's not like I'm going anywhere...
In other news, I was getting ready to head off to bed when I realized that my used Bydureon injector was still in my shirt pocket and hadn't yet made its way to the sharps container. I pulled it out of my pocket and Ruby the Dog immediately perked up, thinking that I was holding the stick that makes the fly dance. She was a *very* attentive dog. I had to tell her, sadly, that this was not the stick and it was time for bed.
The treat she got after getting in her kennel probably made her feel better.
And Gretchen has promised to find the real stick tomorrow.
