I saw a meme going around talking about how much more important the people are who are driving trucks and stocking our grocery store shelves than entertainers. And there's something to be said for that.

And there's something to be said *against* that too.

We've banked the work of the entertainers. We can still watch new programming on television, or binge watch some series that we've never seen. We can listen to music on the radio or via our streaming service of choice or even from our CD collection if we are old enough. We can even watch classic baseball games.

So we still have a supply of entertainment, delivered to us wherever we are shut in.

And -- happily! -- we still have food and other necessities of life delivered to places where we can get at them. Food's down at the base of Maslow's hierarchy of needs and I'm really happy to have it along with a roof over my head, and electrical power, and natural gas, and Internet so that I can work.

But we'd all be going a lot crazier if we didn't have all that banked entertainment to keep us entertained.

If you don't believe me, take a look at your kids. :)
