After some deliberation, Gretchen and I have decided to try *not* getting a new cleaning service, but to do the cleaning ourselves with some help from the kids. The first difficult step in this will be explaining to said kids exactly how certain chores are executed.

In the meantime, we've made some progress on cleaning, one item at a time. :)

I think it is a good idea. Granted, you will likely face protest, but it will help them in the long run.
