There's an Office Under Here Somewhere

I've spent much of the afternoon cleaning off the desk in our office here at home -- part of the entertainment being scanning the hundreds of slides that have been sitting in carousels on the desk for much too long. (112 slides down, another carousel and a half to go.)

daisy_knotwise ran out to Target to pick up plastic crates to put some of the piled up sewing-related items that the crazed stack-making cleaning woman left everywhere in the office. Pretty much what she did with the desk too. No wonder I can't find anything.

But our regular cleaning woman is due in tomorrow. So there's a bit more cleaning to do to get ready. And then we're going to go see Harry Potter at the cheap theater.

Ooooh... you must have a clone of my cleaning woman. She's been verbed... now anytime we can't find something, we assume that it's been "Melissa'd".

Fortunately, Stack-Making Woman was a one-shot substitute since we weren't home on Monday that week (we were flying back from England). Our regular cleaning woman was here today and things are much more sane. :)
