(Relatively) Early to Rise

Up moderately early today (daisy_knotwise is still in bed), because Allan should be here in a few moments to wrap up our baseball season series against each other. Barrett arrives later in the afternoon. I've got two more wrap up series scheduled, which will leave three to go.

Hey, I've got to finish! Pitchers and catchers have reported for real baseball...

Okay, I'm clearly too caught up in the whole "editors of the Daily Illini being suspended for printing the Danish cartoons" thing (although that wasn't actually the reason given for the suspension.)

Why? Because I read that as "Allah should be here in a few moments to wrap up our baseball season series against each other."

My personal advice: don't place ball against a God. It's just a bad plan.

The way things have gone today, I've clearly been playing ball against some god. And I've apparently annoyed him.

On the other hand, I got the baseball stats program to work on the old computer. On the gripping hand, it then took two hours to get the stats to print out to the laser printer.

I think it's time to go to bed now. :)
