I use several gauges of Dunlop nylon picks. They have a rough surface, so they are easier to hold on to. I also use a jar of sticky stuff that you can get in a sporting goods store in the winter when my hands are dry. Just a bit on thumb and index finger and I have much fewer problems holding a pick.
