All That Colonic Jazz

I got the call from the doctor's office today. Both polyps that were removed were happily normal benign tissue. Since the one was moderately large and I have that family history of colon cancer, he'll want to see me again in three years.

I can work with that. There are many worse things than a colonoscopy in life. :)

There are indeed. Thanks to my history of colitis, I go in for a colonoscopy every two years. Just had the most recent one in September. It's become an annoying routine.

I have colon problems on both sides of my family, yet I have to jump through special hoops to get a colonoscopy more than once every five years.

I just jumped through those hoops and have one scheduled for Wednesday, November 16th.
