All Fluxxed Up

Many years ago, I bought a copy of the Fluxx card game. It has been unopened until tonight, when it was time to find out if the girls were old enough to play it with us now.

The answer is "sort of". There was a lot of sulking going on as I won the first two games, but Julie won the third game with a slick move, so perhaps there is hope. :)

We've played Fluxx with our kids since they were able to hold cards. Their minds adapt to the changing rules faster than our older dinosaur brains. They also play a meaner game.

One of the benefits to recent life changes is that in a few years perhaps some of the rarely-touched games we have around our house - including Fluxx - will now actually get played!
