Actually, I can't see all that well out of my right eye at the moment, because it's extremely dilated.

But I saw the retina specialist this morning for the second time and everything continues to look "normal" following the Posterior Vitreous Detachment that showed up in my right eye a couple of weeks ago. The floaters will do what floaters do and there's not much to do about that. The retina is where it belongs and will -- with any reasonable luck! -- stay there.

No further follow up required unless something changes in a bad way.

Yay!

(Floaters suck, alas. I got a few more of those after the treatment for ocular histoplasmosis...)

I am told by own own cadre of specialists that, having had this vitreous detachment in both eyes, that the chance of a retinal detachment is about the same as a person without the detached vitreous.

But man! Do my floaters *scrape*.
