If I weren't watching the hockey game tonight, I would know that the Blackhawks had just won the Stanley Cup from the caliber of explosions outside.

You remind me of the time I was in Calgary for a Westercon 58 planning meeting and while Lisa and I were out for a walk in the evening, I could tell that the Flames had defeated the San Jose Sharks in that round of the playoffs by the reaction around the city, even though the downtown area was relatively dead on a weekend night.
