I'm all for abolishing Daylight Wasting Time (in other words, being on Daylight Saving Time all year).

I remember when Carter imposed DST through the winter back in the 70's, thinking how stupid it was that so many people were whining about how terrible it was that kids had to go to school in the dark, when it was the only winter of my school-going life when I didn't come home from school in the dark almost every day.
