Yet Another Learning Experience

I'm trying to code up some stuff using the libxml2 XMLTextReader. Someone else in our group made a run at it and wrote a few useful bits, which I'm now cleaning up. And as part of this, I'm having to delve into the standard C++ library, which I've normally ignored in favor of MFC.

This wouldn't be so bad if there were actually time to learn this. But it's more a case of Get It Done (TM).

And I'm making progress.
