The house is now much cleaner. The car keys, sadly, are still missing.

I did get hold of the fellow who is supposed to work on the leak on the roof and we've made arrangements for him to actually do so. :)

What is the probability that the keys were hidden behind a loose floorboard, behind the saucepans, or in a bowl at the top of a high, high cabinet? (Places where I've seen Other People's keys been deliberately put, and then forgotten. For months.)

I think I mentioned misplacing my condo keys when you wrote about your keys going missing. As the saying goes, I feel your pain.

The good news for me is that my keys reappeared after nearly two weeks -- right about where I suspected they would be. And it was after I bought a new lock for my mailbox.

I have learned one thing from this, though. I've done something which I probably should have done several years ago -- I've had copies made of all of the keys on the keyring that went AWOL. I'm still trying to figure out where I want to put the spare key ring, though.
