If the game time temperature is 38 degrees Fahrenheit and there's a stiff 20 MPH plus wind blowing (although oddly, out to right field instead of in), then it must be Opening Day at Wrigley Field. Ack!

I made it to the seventh inning stretch before bailing out. By that time, the Cubs had cacked up the lead and were trailing 4-2. Things did not improve after that, save for the fact that I had gone to a warmer place. :)

The Cedar Rapids Kernels actually postponed last night's game to this afternoon (so today is a doubleheader). Opening night was Thursday, and I can't help but thinking the weather then was pretty miserable. And probably contributed to the postponed game last night :-)

We don't have season tickets, but I expect we'll end up at a game soon. Speaking of scheduling, are there any games in Chicago next weekend? We'll be in town for the family Passover gathering (coming in Saturday thru Tuesday morning), and doing some touristy activities. Maybe you kids and ours would like to meet up?
