Well, one of the hot bugs that was assigned to me at work turned out to be the result of operator error. I've confirmed that and talked to the guy at the client who is in charge of making sure this sort of thing doesn't happen and the problem is being taken care of. (Had they brought the problem to him first, it likely wouldn't have gotten to me. :) )

The other bug is a real one, sadly, and I am having to do massive recoding to fix it, as an external API changed without our knowledge and messed up our communications with the other application. But there is light at the end of the tunnel. And it only slightly resembles a train...
