Lose Some, Lose Some

I went to the Cubs / Nationals game tonight with samwinolj. The Cubs trailed in a close 2-1 game until the ninth, when Sveum brought in his left-handed setup man and his closer to keep the game close. This resulted in a 4-1 deficit going to the bottom of the ninth, so the solo homer leading off the inning only made it a little bit closer.

The Cubs are now 0-9 in my current scorebook against any team except the Cardinals, who they lead 3 games to 2.
