Time to Buy a Lotto Ticket

billroperI have no idea what the local lottery jackpots are running right now. But it's obviously time to buy a ticket.
As I haven't yet had a chance to write about FKO, I didn't get a chance to mention that we won the lovely Interfilk quilt that Heather made for the raffle. Katie and Julie were delighted to finally win something in a raffle and I gave them the ticket so they could run up and pick it up. And there was much rejoicing.
Tonight, we went to the last movie night of the year at Katie's school. I bought a small stack of raffle tickets to support the PTC and when the number was called for the big prize of the night, we matched that one too. I handed the ticket to Julie and let her run up and collect the plastic popcorn bucket full of prizes, including a copy of Wreck-It Ralph. And there were more vibrating little girls.
Obviously, I must buy a Powerball ticket for tomorrow night. And then when we win, I will give the ticket to Katie and Julie to carry to the lottery officials...
