Christmas Shopping
Dec. 13th, 2012 11:59 pmWe ventured out to Woodfield Mall for dinner at Red Robin (where I'd been sent an offer for a free malt) and then for me to do a bit of remedial Christmas shopping while
daisy_knotwise sat with Katie and Julie in the play area.
The Christmas shopping is not yet done, but I am much closer.
However, the vast expanses of empty space in the parking lot and the deep sales at a lot of the stores was a fairly convincing message that the economy is not nearly as good as people have been trying to convince us that it is.
I mean, who are you going to believe? The official statistics or your own lying eyes?
*sigh*
