daisy_knotwise keeps threatening to start a blog by this name. I've borrowed the title for today's entry, because -- despite my thwarting her for over a week -- Julie is dressed today in an attractive long-sleeved lavender sweater.

We're on our third or fourth consecutive day of 100+ degree temperatures. *sigh*

I'll just go sweat some more...

lololol - my 7 year old dresses herself and when it is really jolly cold and I am in multiple layers and contemplating turning the heating up, there she is in a strappy summer dress and bare feet (sandals if we're going out), looking mutinous when I suggest that maybe a cardigan would be a propos.

I don't even.

I think she's in training for going to nightclubs on winter nights in short short dresses that display her to best advantage but do nothing to protect her from the weahter while she's queuing to get in.

Only your third or fourth day of 100+. It is sweltering in St. Louis. (and many other places)on day 8 now. You can literally see people melting.
