General Confusion
Sep. 25th, 2024 09:56 pmGeneral confusion seems to be what reigns about my LG TV order. After having talked to the people at LG yesterday who assured me that they would tell RXO to deliver my new TV at the earliest possible date, I figured the next move, having heard nothing else earlier today, should be to call RXO, the company that is supposed to deliver the set.
This afternoon, I called, explained the situation, and was placed on hold while they researched the matter. They never picked up the phone again. Instead, they managed to transfer my call to LG Parts and Sales, a section of LG that has absolutely nothing to do with the TV order that I placed. The befuddled gentleman there transferred me to LG.com, which is staffed with support people for the part of the organization that has actually sold me the TV.
(This is turning into a Seinfeld episode. "You're good at *selling* the TV, you just aren't actually good at *delivering* the TV that you sold.")
The woman there called the back room to find out what was going on with my set. Apparently, there was no satisfactory answer there, because she made sure she had the correct phone number and promised to call me back when she has more information.
That has not happened today.
Maybe tomorrow.
