Rearranging Plans
Aug. 22nd, 2023 10:03 pmSunday will be Gretchen's and my 29th wedding anniversary.
One of our anniversary traditions seems to be that other things happen on our anniversary date to disrupt the general idea of celebrating that day. For example, several years ago, I wanted to go see Billy Joel in concert at Wrigley Field. It turned out that the performance was on our anniversary. My gift to Gretchen was not making her go with me.
*This* year, Tobias Music is having a special session where Andy Powers, the -- well, I don't know what all titles he's carrying right now at Taylor Guitars -- fellow who is designing all of the new guitars at Taylor is going to be in doing a presentation. On our anniversary, taking up most of the afternoon.
That's ok. We can do something at night.
Oh. We now have a Windycon Zoom meeting on Sunday night. I could probably skip it, but I also should probably show up.
Gretchen and I are now planning to celebrate our anniversary on Saturday.
