A Great Many Years Later

I was out to lunch today when I got a call from Gretchen. She had missed a call coming in from the folks who manage my dad's trust. They had gotten a call from my dad's widow's son letting him know that she had died.

Connie was a wonderful, sweet woman who took very good care of my dad when he was dying. I will always appreciate that.

And now it is time to clean up the last of my dad's affairs.
