Moving Right Along
Mar. 23rd, 2023 09:43 pmWe delivered the kids to the airport at 5:55 AM, just ahead of the scheduled 6 AM request for their arrival. I decided that this was not the moment to say "On Time, Every Time", which is the admonition from the high school administration that they hate with a passion. :)
This was followed by Gretchen and I going over to Gail's for a nice breakfast, because we were really tired, food was in order, and they were open at 6 AM. Then it was home and off to work.
Progress was made on things both at work and at home. In some good news, both of the garbage cans have gone to the curb ahead of the morning trash pickup, which is something that didn't happen last week when I was out of town. (The recycling made it out ahead of the pickup; the trash can is really full this week.)
Gretchen and I have plans to get a great many things done this weekend. We'll see how many of them actually get finished. But a beginning has been made...
