That's just wrong. I don't care how badly the Cubs suck. He should be used to it by now and he should be watching anyway.

I listened to every single 1993 Mets game on the radio - every single freaking painful horrible blow a lead in the 8th or 9th inning game. I swear, the Mets came up with the most creative ways to lose that year. I still listened, even as I spent 20+ hours a day, 7 days a week working toward a Ph.D. in physics, because that's what fans do.
