New Recording Laptop
Nov. 16th, 2021 04:54 pmThe new recording laptop has arrived and appears to be working just fine.
Except that it has downloaded and installed Windows 11. This would *also* be fine (probably), except that I never upgraded the Cubase Elements on the laptop from 10.5 to 11, and 10.5 does not appear to be compatible with Windows 11. I could simply upgrade Cubase Elements to version 11, but Steinberg has announced that they will be changing their licensing scheme with the release of Cubase 12 so that it can be installed and run on two different computers without a dongle, which means that I won't need Cubase Elements once Cubase 12 is released.
Next year some time.
