The weather was relatively cool today, so Gretchen and I went out and spent some time trying to get the garage into a state where it could be cleaned up. It's bad when you have to clean before you can clean.
But the last of the construction debris is picked up, various things are in the backs of vehicles to be disposed of, and the pile of unread Chicago Tribunes is now contained in boxes where they can be used as kennel liner for Ruby in the future, since I no longer have a subscription. The first time I stepped out the back door and into the garage to go to my car, it was a shock.
If we can just get eight to ten boxes out of the place and emptied, Gretchen might be able to park in the garage next winter. She would like that.
