It was a lovely, sunny day today. Gretchen and I went out and picked up lunch and sat in the van at the park for a social distancing approved picnic.

I should have worked on taxes today, but I sat in front of the computer and couldn't bear to do it. Instead, I went out to the garage and cleaned, because I could have the garage door open, the fresh air coming in, and a bit of sunshine.

I have now placed all of the paper products back on the shelf in the garage where they belong. (The shelf had become filled with all manner of debris, which has been consolidated in another spot where it doesn't belong, but you take your progress where you can find it.) I have torn down a large number of boxes and disposed of any non-recyclable packing material in a garbage bag. This allowed me to clear a path to the shelf where the portable sound system belongs so that I could get it out of the middle of the garage floor where I have been tripping over it since shortly after Capricon.

These are small victories and I will take those for today.

And promise to work on the taxes tomorrow.
