Baby, It's Cold Inside

After two days of gorgeous weather, it turned cold again yesterday and got down to freezing last night.

I got up this morning and realized that it was distinctly cold in the bedroom. Eventually, I checked the thermometer in the hallway. 61 degrees. Ok, that's just wrong. Obviously, the furnace wasn't running.

I went downstairs, found the thermostat, observed that someone (maybe me!) had turned off the furnace, and switched it back on.

It's substantially warmer in here now.

That could have been much worse.
