Many People Are Crazier Than I Am

I decided last night that it was time to make sure that the larder was properly stocked for a siege, just in case. This morning, I headed out to Sam's Club to pick up a round of the staples that we get from there so that the freezer is full of good things to eat.

It was still during the Plus hours when I got there and the parking lot was quite full. People were rushing back to their cars with carts loaded to the brim with toilet paper and other paper products. I had thought about picking up a package of toilet paper when I noticed some of the carts had my preferred brand, but by the time I got to the back of the store the feeding frenzy had eliminated that option. The poor guys who had just rolled out another pallet of POM were getting mobbed.

Ah, well. Off to the meat case. Chuck roast, ground beef, ham steaks, corned beef (*finally* back in stock).

I may have to install a bidet, but we will eat well. :)
