Time to Make a Change
Jul. 26th, 2019 10:38 pmIt looks like I am going to end up pulling up my TV stakes and abandoning DirecTV in favor of Comcast. This is not because I particularly *like* Comcast, but AT&T clearly has no interest in providing high-speed Internet service to my address and without that there is no reasonable way to bundle services to lower costs.
My back-of-the-envelope calculation suggests that I'm going to end up saving about $100 / month. This is *really* noticeable. We'll see how accurate that is when I go to sign up for service.
In the meantime, we have seven episodes of "Supergirl" and four episodes of "New Girl" on the DVRs that I need to watch before our DirecTV service goes away. Better get to it!
