This Is A Pain In The Butt
Jan. 10th, 2018 10:14 pmI refer, of course, to my continuing bout of sciatica which -- although improving -- is still, well, read the title of the post.
I did manage to get out of the house today for the first time since Saturday to grab some lunch and buy gas for the car. Normally, I would have been able to pop into the passenger seat with Gretchen to go somewhere, but that's not been an option, because Julie has been home from school the first three days of this week with the Martian Death Flu. She has advanced from looking like Death Warmed Over to I'm Not Dead Yet to I Am Acutely Bored With Being At Home, But Am Going Back To Bed Now Because I Am Exhausted.
If Gretchen sees one more episode of My Little Pony this week, she'll scream. (She rather likes the show, but a half-dozen of them in succession is too much of a good thing.) In any case, it is better than the Bunked marathon that paraded across the screen earlier this week.
We are hoping that Julie feels well enough to go back to school tomorrow.
Fingers crossed!
