Family Day With a Twist

We took Katie and Julie down to the Cubs Family Day today. Unfortunately, just after we got to the park, Gretchen took a misstep and walking became a good bit more problematic than it needed to be.

Despite this, Katie managed to go hit at the batting cages, while she and I later had a chance to play catch in the outfield. And then she ran the bases.

Julie was content with more sedentary activities today. Both girls got glitter tattoos and Julie got a balloon animal.

Overall, a good time was had by all.
