A Silly Father's Day

There's still way too many things that I need to finish here, but I continue to gain on them.

In the meantime, it was Father's Day, so we went to the pool again and then fired up the grill for dinner to good effect.

daisy_knotwise is reassembling the kitchen after the painting and changes to the lighting there. As I was standing there admiring the progress, I looked at the toy sitting on the counter that I'd bought for myself a few weeks ago. That would be the Amazon Echo that is connected to the Amazon Cloud and plays music and answers stupid questions.

"Alexa, what's the temperature?"

Alexa obediently gave me the local temperature.

"Alexa, why is the sky blue?"

Alexa proceeded to give a very coherent explanation of atmospheric scattering.

Ok, now it was just time to get silly.

"Alexa, why is a raven like a writing desk?"

And Alexa proceeded to explain...
