Adventures In Cubase
Dec. 26th, 2014 09:34 pmIt was a beautiful, sunny day, so when I got back from Sam's Club (where I snagged bows and wrapping paper for next Christmas), lunch, and the Post Office, I told Gretchen that she should get out of the house. She did and while little girls played with the Wii U, I went to the basement to experiment with Cubase, the iPad, and the new plugins.
I'm having some minor problems with VNC from the iPad, but it may simply be a learning curve problem. The Cubase remote works nicely from the iPad.
And then there are all the new plugins for Cubase. While Cubase 8 was downloading, I spent a lot of time running through the different plugins on a song from The Grim Roper. I think I've got something that works now. I'll run it by Gretchen later.
And I've updated Cubase and the Valhalla reverb plugins, so that's progress too.
