Rolling, Rolling, Rolling
Mar. 13th, 2012 11:59 pmWe took Julie to Wal-Mart this evening and picked out a lovely red 16 inch bicycle for her. She also got a new helmet -- the old one didn't fit at all. And each girl got a new basket for their bikes. Katie's basket came with a bell, while Julie got a separate (loud!) horn.
Julie rode her new bike -- with her helmet on! -- all the way to the checkout line.
It was a shame that she forgot her blanket, Buni. She figured this out just as we got home, so we had to turn around and go back and look for it. It wasn't where she'd left it, but someone had stuffed it onto a nearby shelf. The person at Customer Service told me I was lucky they hadn't just thrown it away, if I understood her correctly.
There's a warm, comfortable feeling.
*sigh*
Anyway, if the weather is decent tomorrow, she can try out the bike outdoors. :)
