To Da Loop

The title, of course, belongs to an old Chicago joke.

"Does this bus go to da Loop?"

"Naw, it goes 'beep, beep'!"

But one of my bosses is in town this week, so I'm off to the Loop for morning meetings with him, then -- because he's got other meetings for the rest of the day -- back home for lunch. Obviously, he's well-loved, given all the meetings he's been invited to... :)

Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam

During this time when comment notification on LJ appears to be completely broken, it's sad to note that I am getting more comments that are spam than comments that come from human beings. This brings up the interesting question of whether the spammers are human beings.

I'm thinking of voting "No" on that one.
