Adventures in Potty Training
Apr. 19th, 2010 06:24 pmAt nearly three-and-a-half years old, Katie is easily old enough for potty training. It's not that she doesn't understand the concept. It's that she keeps telling us that she's not big enough. We've tried a potty chair (apparently makes a great step stool), a potty seat on the toilet (nope), a step stool to get onto the potty seat on the toilet (also nope), and numerous messages of encouragement including the suggestion that she could go to pre-school and play with other kids regularly if she were potty trained.
Nope.
So this morning, Katie apparently decided that she needed to, well, make poopies. She removed her pull up, ran out the back door stark naked, and proceeded to make the aforementioned poopies in the back yard.
Apparently, she's been spending too much time with Uncle Jeff and Aunt Carol's dogs this weekend.
Or something like that.
*sigh*
Important Correction: I apparently misheard earlier when I was talking to
daisy_knotwise. Katie did not do this.
Julie did.
*sigh*
Again.
Nope.
