Essentially Finished
Apr. 17th, 2010 11:27 pmOf course, the trim and fiddly bits go slower than the rolling of the walls, so
daisy_knotwise has just finished painting the baseboard trim in Katie's room. I painted the top edge of the wall near the ceiling and the three doors (two closet, one exit) earlier today. The trim around the exit door and the window sill still need to be painted, but we're declaring victory, because that little bit of painting can be done at our leisure.
The changing table / dresser has been exiled to the basement. This has greatly disconcerted Katie, because it is her changing table. I tried to explain to her that she's a big girl and no longer should need a changing table, but she has thus far had none of it. Nevertheless, it and the crib have been claimed and will be going to a good new home before too long.
Tomorrow, we'll remove the masking around the baseboard trim, put all the furniture back in place, and get life -- more or less! -- back to normal. :)
