And Then All Heck Broke Loose

I had figured out what I was going to be doing today as I tried to finish up work before heading out to Consonance. Then daisy_knotwise got sick. This was worse for her than for me, but what it meant was that she needed to spend the afternoon in bed while I tried to ride herd on two little girls. And take a scheduled phone call. And fix bugs for my demo. And figure out why ClearCase wouldn't let me check in 40+ files that I had checked out. Or even undo the checkout so I could start over.

The last one was the kicker that had me and the ClearCase expert from Santa Clara working on it until 8:30 PM Chicago time. And that put paid to the evening.

I had hoped to get some sleep tonight, but since I'm not getting to bed until after midnight and I have to get up at 5:00 AM to get to Midway for my flight out, I'm thinking that's not going to happen either.

At least I found my company ID. *sigh*

I'm really looking forward to this convention. :)
