daisy_knotwise, Katie, Julie, and I will shortly depart for Uncle samwinolj's and Aunt Bonnie's place. Gretchen will attempt to keep the girls kicked into play while I help Sam configure the printer that I gave him on extremely long-term loan so that it actually works for him.

After that, we'll head out for Chinese food; then drive around to look at Christmas lights, which has become a non-negotiable demand of Katie's that we're happy to meet.

All this means that I should wake Julie up from her nap now.
