Buy This Magazine!

Just to be clear, yesterday's post was not in any way related to National Lampoon's famous "Buy this magazine or we'll shoot this dog!" cover. I'm not likely to suddenly stop writing (barring a lack of time or writer's block) because there's a shortage of comments. :)

I do appreciate all the thoughtful comments there which I'll address at more length later -- I'm typing this right now from my work laptop, which I've logged into to make sure that things have returned to being quiet. So far, so good on that front.

21 Months Old

Today Katie was 21 months old -- 1.75 years! Gack!

In honor of this, I walked her over to the neighborhood playground after dinner. Later, daisy_knotwise came by with Julie in the van (which is why Julie is sadly absent from these photos), picked us up, and we proceeded to Culver's for turtle custard.

But before that, I snapped a few pictures.
