Mother's Day

We had hoped to go out for dinner tonight to someplace interesting. Unfortunately, it being Mother's Day, pretty much every restaurant in the area was way over full. We ended up at Steak and Shake.

Which made Gretchen perfectly happy. "Hey, any place where you can get a half and half dark chocolate and mocha shake is just fine with me!"

So I just watched Katie go down the stairs to the first floor by herself, because she heard Julie crying and wanted to see what was happening.

The pediatrician says that we should start working on potty training. This should be entertaining.
