It Was a Sunny Day (Redux)
Feb. 20th, 2008 04:20 pmFor the first time in some time, it is a bright, clear, sunny (but really cold!) day here in Chicagoland. The air is clear enough that I can not only clearly see the colors of the buildings downtown from my office window, but I can see the antenna towers on the tops of the Sears Tower and John Hancock buildings.
That'll do until something warmer comes along.
In other developments, I finally did get the new tire(s) on Monday and the contractor is coming to install the new garage door opener tomorrow which will be none too soon, as the garage is basically inoperable fordaisy_knotwise until that's done. I'm tall enough to open the door and latch it to the opener, but Gretchen's just a bit shorter. :)
Update: And now a bright orange full moon is rising over the skyscrapers as it heads toward tonight's total lunar eclipse. That'll work too.
