Dodging the Bullet

The northwest suburbs of Chicago appear to have dodged the bullet with this major winter storm, as we spent most of yesterday evening getting good old-fashioned non-freezing rain and lots of it. This eventually changed to sleet after midnight, followed by less than an inch of snow. I scraped the slush off the driveway this morning in short order.

Now, daisy_knotwise and Katie have gone off fabric shopping and I'm back to mixing.
