The Astros finally lost a game tonight to the Braves while the Cards beat the Brewers to drop their magic number to 2. This by no means makes it a done deal, but it's a heckuva lot better than the situation they'd be in had the win and loss been reversed.

The Astros finally lost a game tonight to the Braves while the Cards beat the Brewers to drop their magic number to 2. This by no means makes it a done deal, but it's a heckuva lot better than the situation they'd be in had the win and loss been reversed.

A Productive Day

We had our final (more or less) rehearsal for our ConClave show today. dek9 was in from Michigan, so the whole crew was here and much fun was had.

After dinner at Cheeseburger in Paradise, we came back and fixed up tracks for catalana's album, retracking all of Ladies of Fairytale (which meant that she got to match timing with decadent_dave's harmony line instead of the other way around), fixed the last chorus and ending of Starshine and Moondust, and retracked the bridge and ending of Ruins. I also farbled around with some harmonies which I'll work more on later when I have more voice.

And in other news, the Cardinals won today to drop their magic number to one. Unfortunately, the Astros beat the Braves, so that's where the number is staying for the day, but it beats the heck out of the four that it was entering Friday.
